성경:전도서1장1절-11절(구948)

설교:허무의 바다를 건너서

(전 1:1, 개정) 다윗의 아들 예루살렘 왕 전도자의 말씀이라

(전 1:2, 개정) 전도자가 이르되 헛되고 헛되며 헛되고 헛되니 모든 것이 헛되도다

(전 1:3, 개정) 해 아래에서 수고하는 모든 수고가 사람에게 무엇이 유익한가

(전 1:4, 개정) 한 세대는 가고 한 세대는 오되 땅은 영원히 있도다

(전 1:5, 개정) 해는 뜨고 해는 지되 그 떴던 곳으로 빨리 돌아가고

(전 1:6, 개정) 바람은 남으로 불다가 북으로 돌아가며 이리 돌며 저리 돌아 바람은 그 불던 곳으로 돌아가고

(전 1:7, 개정) 모든 강물은 다 바다로 흐르되 바다를 채우지 못하며 강물은 어느 곳으로 흐르든지 그리로 연하여 흐르느니라

(전 1:8, 개정) 모든 만물이 피곤하다는 것을 사람이 말로 다 말할 수는 없나니 눈은 보아도 족함이 없고 귀는 들어도 가득 차지 아니하도다

(전 1:9, 개정) 이미 있던 것이 후에 다시 있겠고 이미 한 일을 후에 다시 할지라 해 아래에는 새 것이 없나니

(전 1:10, 개정) 무엇을 가리켜 이르기를 보라 이것이 새 것이라 할 것이 있으랴 우리가 있기 오래 전 세대들에도 이미 있었느니라

(전 1:11, 개정) 이전 세대들이 기억됨이 없으니 장래 세대도 그 후 세대들과 함께 기억됨이 없으리라

(Ec 1:1, NIV) The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem：

(Ec 1:2, NIV) "Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless."

(Ec 1:3, NIV) What does man gain from all his labor at which he toils under the sun?

(Ec 1:4, NIV) Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.

(Ec 1:5, NIV) The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.

(Ec 1:6, NIV) The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course.

(Ec 1:7, NIV) All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again.

(Ec 1:8, NIV) All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing.

(Ec 1:9, NIV) What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

(Ec 1:10, NIV) Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.

(Ec 1:11, NIV) There is no remembrance of men of old, and even those who are yet to come will not be remembered by those who follow.
