설교:어디로 가든지 형통할지라

(왕상 2:1, 개정) 다윗이 죽을 날이 임박하매 그의 아들 솔로몬에게 명령하여 이르되

(왕상 2:2, 개정) 내가 이제 세상 모든 사람이 가는 길로 가게 되었노니 너는 힘써 대장부가 되고

(왕상 2:3, 개정) 네 하나님 여호와의 명령을 지켜 그 길로 행하여 그 법률과 계명과 율례와 증거를 모세의 율법에 기록된 대로 지키라 그리하면 네가 무엇을 하든지 어디로 가든지 형통할지라

(왕상 2:4, 개정) 여호와께서 내 일에 대하여 말씀하시기를 만일 네 자손들이 그들의 길을 삼가 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 진실히 내 앞에서 행하면 이스라엘 왕위에 오를 사람이 네게서 끊어지지 아니하리라 하신 말씀을 확실히 이루게 하시리라

(왕상 2:5, 개정) 스루야의 아들 요압이 내게 행한 일 곧 이스라엘 군대의 두 사령관 넬의 아들 아브넬과 예델의 아들 아마사에게 행한 일을 네가 알거니와 그가 그들을 죽여 태평 시대에 전쟁의 피를 흘리고 전쟁의 피를 자기의 허리에 띤 띠와 발에 신은 신에 묻혔으니

(왕상 2:6, 개정) 네 지혜대로 행하여 그의 백발이 평안히 스올에 내려가지 못하게 하라

(왕상 2:7, 개정) 마땅히 길르앗 바르실래의 아들들에게 은총을 베풀어 그들이 네 상에서 먹는 자 중에 참여하게 하라 내가 네 형 압살롬의 낯을 피하여 도망할 때에 그들이 내게 나왔느니라

(왕상 2:8, 개정) 바후림 베냐민 사람 게라의 아들 시므이가 너와 함께 있나니 그는 내가 마하나임으로 갈 때에 악독한 말로 나를 저주하였느니라 그러나 그가 요단에 내려와서 나를 영접하므로 내가 여호와를 두고 맹세하여 이르기를 내가 칼로 너를 죽이지 아니하리라 하였노라

(왕상 2:9, 개정) 그러나 그를 무죄한 자로 여기지 말지어다 너는 지혜 있는 사람이므로 그에게 행할 일을 알지니 그의 백발이 피 가운데 스올에 내려가게 하라

(1Kg 2:1, NIV) When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son.

(1Kg 2:2, NIV) "I am about to go the way of all the earth," he said. "So be strong, show yourself a man,

(1Kg 2:3, NIV) and observe what the LORD your God requires： Walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements, as written in the Law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go,

(1Kg 2:4, NIV) and that the LORD may keep his promise to me： 'If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a man on the throne of Israel.'

(1Kg 2:5, NIV) "Now you yourself know what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me--what he did to the two commanders of Israel's armies, Abner son of Ner and Amasa son of Jether. He killed them, shedding their blood in peacetime as if in battle, and with that blood stained the belt around his waist and the sandals on his feet.

(1Kg 2:6, NIV) Deal with him according to your wisdom, but do not let his gray head go down to the grave in peace.

(1Kg 2:7, NIV) "But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai of Gilead and let them be among those who eat at your table. They stood by me when I fled from your brother Absalom.

(1Kg 2:8, NIV) "And remember, you have with you Shimei son of Gera, the Benjamite from Bahurim, who called down bitter curses on me the day I went to Mahanaim. When he came down to meet me at the Jordan, I swore to him by the LORD： 'I will not put you to death by the sword.'

(1Kg 2:9, NIV) But now, do not consider him innocent. You are a man of wisdom; you will know what to do to him. Bring his gray head down to the grave in blood."
