설교: 은혜와 복과 형통

(창 46:28, 개정) 야곱이 유다를 요셉에게 미리 보내어 자기를 고센으로 인도하게 하고 다 고센 땅에 이르니

(창 46:29, 개정) 요셉이 그의 수레를 갖추고 고센으로 올라가서 그의 아버지 이스라엘을 맞으며 그에게 보이고 그의 목을 어긋맞춰 안고 얼마 동안 울매

(창 46:30, 개정) 이스라엘이 요셉에게 이르되 네가 지금까지 살아 있고 내가 네 얼굴을 보았으니 지금 죽어도 족하도다

(창 46:31, 개정) 요셉이 그의 형들과 아버지의 가족에게 이르되 내가 올라가서 바로에게 아뢰어 이르기를 가나안 땅에 있던 내 형들과 내 아버지의 가족이 내게로 왔는데

(창 46:32, 개정) 그들은 목자들이라 목축하는 사람들이므로 그들의 양과 소와 모든 소유를 이끌고 왔나이다 하리니

(창 46:33, 개정) 바로가 당신들을 불러서 너희의 직업이 무엇이냐 묻거든

(창 46:34, 개정) 당신들은 이르기를 주의 종들은 어렸을 때부터 지금까지 목축하는 자들이온데 우리와 우리 선조가 다 그러하니이다 하소서

(창 47:1, 개정) 요셉이 바로에게 가서 고하여 이르되 내 아버지와 내 형들과 그들의 양과 소와 모든 소유가 가나안 땅에서 와서 고센 땅에 있나이다 하고

(창 47:2, 개정) 그의 형들 중 다섯 명을 택하여 바로에게 보이니

(창 47:3, 개정) 바로가 요셉의 형들에게 묻되 너희 생업이 무엇이냐 그들이 바로에게 대답하되 종들은 목자이온데 우리와 선조가 다 그러하니이다 하고

(창 47:4, 개정) 그들이 또 바로에게 고하되 가나안 땅에 기근이 심하여 종들의 양 떼를 칠 곳이 없기로 종들이 이 곳에 거류하고자 왔사오니 원하건대 종들로 고센 땅에 살게 하소서

(창 47:5, 개정) 바로가 요셉에게 말하여 이르되 네 아버지와 형들이 네게 왔은즉

(창 47:6, 개정) 애굽 땅이 네 앞에 있으니 땅의 좋은 곳에 네 아버지와 네 형들이 거주하게 하되 그들이 고센 땅에 거주하고 그들 중에 능력 있는 자가 있거든 그들로 내 가축을 관리하게 하라

(창 47:7, 개정) 요셉이 자기 아버지 야곱을 인도하여 바로 앞에 서게 하니 야곱이 바로에게 축복하매

(창 47:8, 개정) 바로가 야곱에게 묻되 네 나이가 얼마냐

(창 47:9, 개정) 야곱이 바로에게 아뢰되 내 나그네 길의 세월이 백삼십 년이니이다 내 나이가 얼마 못 되니 우리 조상의 나그네 길의 연조에 미치지 못하나 험악한 세월을 보내었나이다 하고

(창 47:10, 개정) 야곱이 바로에게 축복하고 그 앞에서 나오니라

(창 47:11, 개정) 요셉이 바로의 명령대로 그의 아버지와 그의 형들에게 거주할 곳을 주되 애굽의 좋은 땅 라암셋을 그들에게 주어 소유로 삼게 하고

(창 47:12, 개정) 또 그의 아버지와 그의 형들과 그의 아버지의 온 집에 그 식구를 따라 먹을 것을 주어 봉양하였더라

(Gn 46:28, NIV) Now Jacob sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to get directions to Goshen. When they arrived in the region of Goshen,

(Gn 46:29, NIV) Joseph had his chariot made ready and went to Goshen to meet his father Israel. As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father and wept for a long time.

(Gn 46:30, NIV) Israel said to Joseph, "Now I am ready to die, since I have seen for myself that you are still alive."

(Gn 46:31, NIV) Then Joseph said to his brothers and to his father's household, "I will go up and speak to Pharaoh and will say to him, 'My brothers and my father's household, who were living in the land of Canaan, have come to me.

(Gn 46:32, NIV) The men are shepherds; they tend livestock, and they have brought along their flocks and herds and everything they own.'

(Gn 46:33, NIV) When Pharaoh calls you in and asks, 'What is your occupation?'

(Gn 46:34, NIV) you should answer, 'Your servants have tended livestock from our boyhood on, just as our fathers did.' Then you will be allowed to settle in the region of Goshen, for all shepherds are detestable to the Egyptians."

(Gn 47:1, NIV) Joseph went and told Pharaoh, "My father and brothers, with their flocks and herds and everything they own, have come from the land of Canaan and are now in Goshen."

(Gn 47:2, NIV) He chose five of his brothers and presented them before Pharaoh.

(Gn 47:3, NIV) Pharaoh asked the brothers, "What is your occupation?" "Your servants are shepherds," they replied to Pharaoh, "just as our fathers were."

(Gn 47:4, NIV) They also said to him, "We have come to live here awhile, because the famine is severe in Canaan and your servants' flocks have no pasture. So now, please let your servants settle in Goshen."

(Gn 47:5, NIV) Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Your father and your brothers have come to you,

(Gn 47:6, NIV) and the land of Egypt is before you; settle your father and your brothers in the best part of the land. Let them live in Goshen. And if you know of any among them with special ability, put them in charge of my own livestock."

(Gn 47:7, NIV) Then Joseph brought his father Jacob in and presented him before Pharaoh. After Jacob blessed Pharaoh,

(Gn 47:8, NIV) Pharaoh asked him, "How old are you?"

(Gn 47:9, NIV) And Jacob said to Pharaoh, "The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers."

(Gn 47:10, NIV) Then Jacob blessed Pharaoh and went out from his presence.

(Gn 47:11, NIV) So Joseph settled his father and his brothers in Egypt and gave them property in the best part of the land, the district of Rameses, as Pharaoh directed.

(Gn 47:12, NIV) Joseph also provided his father and his brothers and all his father's household with food, according to the number of their children.
