설교:필요를 제공하시는 예수님

(요 6:1, 개정) 그 후에 예수께서 디베랴의 갈릴리 바다 건너편으로 가시매

(요 6:2, 개정) 큰 무리가 따르니 이는 병자들에게 행하시는 표적을 보았음이러라

(요 6:3, 개정) 예수께서 산에 오르사 제자들과 함께 거기 앉으시니

(요 6:4, 개정) 마침 유대인의 명절인 유월절이 가까운지라

(요 6:5, 개정) 예수께서 눈을 들어 큰 무리가 자기에게로 오는 것을 보시고 빌립에게 이르시되 우리가 어디서 떡을 사서 이 사람들을 먹이겠느냐 하시니

(요 6:6, 개정) 이렇게 말씀하심은 친히 어떻게 하실지를 아시고 빌립을 시험하고자 하심이라

(요 6:7, 개정) 빌립이 대답하되 각 사람으로 조금씩 받게 할지라도 이백 데나리온의 떡이 부족하리이다

(요 6:8, 개정) 제자 중 하나 곧 시몬 베드로의 형제 안드레가 예수께 여짜오되

(요 6:9, 개정) 여기 한 아이가 있어 보리떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지고 있나이다 그러나 그것이 이 많은 사람에게 얼마나 되겠사옵나이까

(요 6:10, 개정) 예수께서 이르시되 이 사람들로 앉게 하라 하시니 그 곳에 잔디가 많은지라 사람들이 앉으니 수가 오천 명쯤 되더라

(요 6:11, 개정) 예수께서 떡을 가져 축사하신 후에 앉아 있는 자들에게 나눠 주시고 물고기도 그렇게 그들의 원대로 주시니라

(요 6:12, 개정) 그들이 배부른 후에 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되 남은 조각을 거두고 버리는 것이 없게 하라 하시므로

(요 6:13, 개정) 이에 거두니 보리떡 다섯 개로 먹고 남은 조각이 열두 바구니에 찼더라

(요 6:14, 개정) 그 사람들이 예수께서 행하신 이 표적을 보고 말하되 이는 참으로 세상에 오실 그 선지자라 하더라

(요 6:15, 개정) 그러므로 예수께서 그들이 와서 자기를 억지로 붙들어 임금으로 삼으려는 줄 아시고 다시 혼자 산으로 떠나 가시니라

(Jn 6:1, NIV) Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias),

(Jn 6:2, NIV) and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the miraculous signs he had performed on the sick.

(Jn 6:3, NIV) Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples.

(Jn 6:4, NIV) The Jewish Passover Feast was near.

(Jn 6:5, NIV) When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, "Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?"

(Jn 6:6, NIV) He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.

(Jn 6:7, NIV) Philip answered him, "Eight months' wages would not buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!"

(Jn 6:8, NIV) Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, spoke up,

(Jn 6:9, NIV) "Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?"

(Jn 6:10, NIV) Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." There was plenty of grass in that place, and the men sat down, about five thousand of them.

(Jn 6:11, NIV) Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

(Jn 6:12, NIV) When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, "Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted."

(Jn 6:13, NIV) So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

(Jn 6:14, NIV) After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, "Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world."

(Jn 6:15, NIV) Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.
