(단 2:17, 개정) 이에 다니엘이 자기 집으로 돌아가서 그 친구 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴에게 그 일을 알리고
(단 2:18, 개정) 하늘에 계신 하나님이 이 은밀한 일에 대하여 불쌍히 여기사 다니엘과 친구들이 바벨론의 다른 지혜자들과 함께 죽임을 당하지 않게 하시기를 그들로 하여금 구하게 하니라
(Dn 2:17, NIV) Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.
(Dn 2:18, NIV) He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
