설교:예수님 때문에 하나님께서 완고한 성도를 변화시키신다.

(창 37:31, 개정) 그들이 요셉의 옷을 가져다가 숫염소를 죽여 그 옷을 피에 적시고

(창 37:32, 개정) 그의 채색옷을 보내어 그의 아버지에게로 가지고 가서 이르기를 우리가 이것을 발견하였으니 아버지 아들의 옷인가 보소서 하매

(창 37:33, 개정) 아버지가 그것을 알아보고 이르되 내 아들의 옷이라 악한 짐승이 그를 잡아 먹었도다 요셉이 분명히 찢겼도다 하고

(창 37:34, 개정) 자기 옷을 찢고 굵은 베로 허리를 묶고 오래도록 그의 아들을 위하여 애통하니

(창 37:35, 개정) 그의 모든 자녀가 위로하되 그가 그 위로를 받지 아니하여 이르되 내가 슬퍼하며 스올로 내려가 아들에게로 가리라 하고 그의 아버지가 그를 위하여 울었더라

(창 37:36, 개정) 그 미디안 사람들은 그를 애굽에서 바로의 신하 친위대장 보디발에게 팔았더라

(창 38:25, 개정) 여인이 끌려나갈 때에 사람을 보내어 시아버지에게 이르되 이 물건 임자로 말미암아 임신하였나이다 청하건대 보소서 이 도장과 그 끈과 지팡이가 누구의 것이니이까 한지라

(Gn 37:31, NIV) Then they got Joseph's robe, slaughtered a goat and dipped the robe in the blood.

(Gn 37:32, NIV) They took the ornamented robe back to their father and said, "We found this. Examine it to see whether it is your son's robe."

(Gn 37:33, NIV) He recognized it and said, "It is my son's robe! Some ferocious animal has devoured him. Joseph has surely been torn to pieces."

(Gn 37:34, NIV) Then Jacob tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and mourned for his son many days.

(Gn 37:35, NIV) All his sons and daughters came to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. "No," he said, "in mourning will I go down to the grave to my son." So his father wept for him.

(Gn 37:36, NIV) Meanwhile, the Midianites sold Joseph in Egypt to Potiphar, one of Pharaoh's officials, the captain of the guard.

(Gn 38:25, NIV) As she was being brought out, she sent a message to her father-in-law. "I am pregnant by the man who owns these," she said. And she added, "See if you recognize whose seal and cord and staff these are."
